Syndicating content and links, multi-language support studied
■ "Tutorials & help" panel about the system.
■ Components prefilter to page context and type of content. Grouping within components supports ease of use.
■ A more link to a Content Dashboard (shown below) displays all content matching the same criteria.
■ A multi-language indicator and micro-interaction below titles indicates if two versions of a document are available.
This feature supports a global requirement.
I authored test scripts, set up and ran remote testing, and created reports and revisions to test and refine the design for this feature.
For some tests, I worked with a researcher.
Content dashboard and credential builder
■ A Content Dashboard resolved search issues across siloed global infrastructure as the key tool to browse knowledge and build dynamic credential documents.
■ Filters display hierarchical taxonomy with flyout menus of selectable metadata.
■ Interactive filters display in the Filter column.
■ Filter combinations could be saved as Filter Sets.
■ Results include an "add to credential builder" button.
■ The Credential Builder pulldown menu includes instructions and action links to dynamically sort content and generate PowerPoint slides for proposals.
Native and English language document support
■ The display logic for content posted in American English and a native language or content posted only in a native language.
■ All components offered this multi-language support.
■ User profiles determine that users in native language countries see the native language document first while others see the English version first.
